A member of dancehall deejay Mavado’s entourage who was shot by a cop at the entrance to the Quad night club in New Kingston has succumbed to his injuries in hospital.
He has been identified as Conroy Edwards of Salisbury Plains in St Andrew.
Police report that members of Mavado’s entourage refused to be searched when they attempted to enter the club and a fracas ensued.
Edwards was shot in the abdomen and was hospitalised for three days before he died.
